Ephraim Hill Climb and Concours Schedule

We are pleased to announce the Third Annual Ephraim Vintage Festival (EVF) featuring the Hagerty Hill Climb and Arbor Crowne Properties Concours d’Elegance highlighting rare Pre-War European, American Classics, and significant post-war Sports Cars through 1968, September 8, 9, & 10, 2017.

The Ephraim Vintage Festival LLC is delighted that Arbor Crowne Properties will again be the Title Sponsor for Sunday’s Concours d’Elegance. The EVF is unique among North American classic automobile Concours, as this event will again include the exciting Hill Climb. For 2017 EVF is pleased to announce that Saturday’s Hill Climb will be sponsored by the Hagerty Insurance Company. The Hagerty™ Hill Climb is set upon a beautiful and challenging course that winds its way through the picturesque village streets and traverses the steep Niagara Escarpment carved by the glaciers.

Back by popular demand will be Friday’s Hillside Inn of Door County Tour which will green flag the Festival with a delightful driving tour of Door County. The Tour will marshal at the iconic Hillside Inn of Door County located in the center of Ephraim at 12:00pm. The Hillside Inn of Door County Tour will guide participants to multiple boutiques, stops at bay side cafes, and unique art galleries that adorn the scenic countryside of Door County.

The Tour finishes back at the Old Village Hall in the center of Ephraim for Registration and Technical Inspection of the cars for Saturday’s Hill Climb. Registration and technical inspection opens at 3:30 and runs until 6:30. After registration and technical inspection, multiple restaurants will be available for dinner within walking distance of the Village Hall.

Registration and technical inspection opens at 8:30 and runs through 11:30. The Hagerty™ Hill Climb runs will begin about 11:00 AM Saturday for all Registered Drivers with Technically Inspected cars with six Parade Laps for all participants and their registered guests. Single car runs will then commence and continue to about 3:00 PM. This year, the Village is providing free viewing areas for the public and we expect 4,000 spectators to be in attendance.

At 3:30 PM a technical presentation called “How Porsche Began Building Sports Cars” will convene at the Old Village Hall. The presentation is sponsored by Cooper Technica of Bristol Wisconsin.

The Dinner Dance will commence at 6:00 for all event marshals, judges, and participants at the Old Village Hall, overlooking the magnificent Eagle Harbor. Cocktail Attire is required, and 1946 apparel is wonderfully accepted to attend this event. Dinner winds down with desserts and dancing with music delivered on stage by a traditional 16 piece swing band. This Gala, with the great swing band and participants dressed in 1940’s attire is fast becoming the “Goodwood Festival” of the Midwest.

The Arbor Crowne Properties Concours d’Elegance, will find the classic automobiles positioned Bayside along the stunning Eagle Harbor, starting at 11:00 AM on Sunday.

The historic and beautiful Village of Ephraim is located in picturesque Door County Wisconsin, one hour north of the City of Green Bay on Highway 42. Ephraim is situated perfectly along Eagle Harbor. The events will be held in the heart of Ephraim’s Historic District, home to charming shops, boutiques, restaurants, and a wide variety of elegant and charismatic hotels and B &B’s, most within walking distance to all weekend events.

The Scholarship recipients receive certified instruction at the Ephraim Yacht Club. Founded in 1906, the Ephraim Yacht Club is a community sailing center with the mission of teaching sailing as a lifelong sport. Over the past three years the Aaron R.
